It was always a dream of ours to design & decorate for films, and in 2022 that dream came true! Wishes Lighting & Decor was selected to design and install Christmas lights & decor for "A Christmas... Present". Under the direction of the amazing production designer Bill Waxller, we had the privilege to decorate the exterior of the McCormick home. We also joined the team of designers working on the interior home to design and decorate inside. Staring Candace Cameron Bure, Marc Blucas & Paul Fiztgerald, this film follows real-estate mom Maggie Larson who takes her family to spend Christmas with her brother and his daughter,
who have different expectations for their holidays.
In the film, Maggie, played by Candace Cameron Bure, travels to "Ohio" also known as Claremore, Oklahoma. Wishes Lighting & Decor designed & installed the lighting and exterior decor on the McCormick home. Check out some photos below that showcase our decor work.
After the exterior was complete, production designer Bill Waxller hired us to do some design and install work on the interior of this beautiful home. This project was a team effort and none of it would have been possible without the full team of designers and set dressers. While we were blessed to play a small part in just about every room in this home, we highlighted some of our favorite pieces in the photos below.
